The organizers released the tickets for sale today, May 24, on Eventbrite. There are two price categories to choose from: a standard 3-day ticket priced at $388, and a premium 3-day ticket priced at $888. Both ticket options include free seating, priority access to signing sessions, and a goodie bag. The differentiating factor is that premium ticket holders will gain exclusive access to an after-party. Please note that each transaction is limited to a maximum of 2 tickets, and all purchases are non-refundable regardless of the circumstances. Despite the steep prices, the tickets got sold out within hours.

The pricing of tickets for the Bali Major has ignited a heated discussion within the Dota 2 community, leading to a surge of frustration and discontent on the popular r/DotA2 subreddit. The backlash started even before the ticket prices were officially announced as a redditor leaked the prices beforehand. After the official release, the leaked ticket prices turned out to be accurate.
The Bali Major playoffs, featuring a live audience, will take place at Champa Garden in Ayana Estate. Known for its stunning outdoor ambiance and its ability to accommodate large-scale wedding ceremonies and receptions, the venue has a capacity of approximately 2000 guests. With ticket prices reaching new heights, however, this Major is setting a new standard for Dota 2 events. In comparison, the highly regarded 2022 TI, which was previously considered the most expensive event, offered tickets starting at $64 per day for mid-week days, while a ticket granting access to both final days cost $361. The recently-concluded Berlin Major offered a premium 3-day experience starting at $300, while standard tickets were available for just $63.
