You can summon golems to destroy enemy towers with Warlock to claim victory in Dota 2 matches.

Players can rejoice with their friends as hundreds of esports teams prepare to earn more points for the Dead Reckoning. The recent release of the 7.32 E update has included an exciting mini-game to encourage esports players to get more kills and assists in their matches. Each kill gained against specific enemy heroes provides 2 points and an assist provides 1 point in the Dead Reckoning that can be used to unlock new skins for the roster.

Intelligence heroes like Muerta, Outworld Destroyer, and Warlock can be powerful allies to help esports teams win matches in competitions and online tournaments. Many people pick Intelligence heroes for their easy learning curves that let players in support roles have a pleasant experience during their games.

Here’s how you can destroy enemy towers by summoning golems using Warlock in the massively multiplayer game.

Warlock – Use Chaotic Offering to Stun Enemies

Warlock stuns enemies using golems

Warlock is known for his ability to sneak through enemy territories to demolish enemy towers. He can push different lanes comfortably using his ulti, Chaotic Offering, to crush enemy towers and force his opponents to defend their lanes.

The support hero can summon a golem with Chaotic Offering to eliminate enemy units and structures. A golem has 3200 health, deals 230 damage per hit, and has a movement speed of 360. You can use Chaotic Offering to stun enemy units for a second, making it effective to initiate team fights with Warlock in Dota 2. Players can stun multiple enemy heroes using a golem to disable the enemy team while they try to defend their towers.

These golems last for 60 seconds. Golems summoned by Warlock have Permanent Immolation as a passive ability that deals 70 damage per second (DPS) to all enemy units around a golem in a radius of 300. Chaotic Offering has a cooldown of 160 seconds and requires 500 mana to be used in the game. You can use spells like Fatal Bonds to spread the damage dealt by golems to enemy units while pushing lanes.

Fatal Bonds can be used by Warlock on up to 6 enemy units, including enemy heroes, to deal 24% damage to all units bound by the spell. The damage dealt to enemy units bound by Fatal Bonds can last for 25 seconds. Fatal Bonds has a cooldown of 18 seconds and needs 140 mana to be used per cast. Golems can deal bonus damage to stunned enemy heroes while Fatal Bonds is active. Warlock can destroy waves of enemy creeps before attacking enemy towers with Fatal Bonds and Chaotic Offering.

Warlock – Focus on Enemy Towers

Warlock attacks enemy tower with golems in the top lane

You can focus on taking down enemy towers to help your team achieve victory earlier in your games. Most people who are new to playing Warlock stay close to their tower while pushing lanes. Players have a better chance of winning matches in Dota 2 by focusing on destroying enemy towers with Warlock using golems.

People can teleport between different lanes with Warlock in their matches to get closer to enemy towers. Warlock can nuke enemy creeps with Fatal Bonds to mitigate them within seconds of teleporting to a lane. Make sure your ulti is ready to be used near enemy towers to destroy them before enemy heroes get a chance to counter the attack.

Warlock – Heal Golems While Pushing Lanes

Warlock heals a golem using Shadow Word

Warlock can heal his allies using Shadow Word to restore health throughout the game. Shadow Word can provide up to 45 health per second to allies for 10 seconds. Warlock can use Shadow Word on golems constantly to keep them from dying while pushing lanes. Shadow Word has a cooldown of 14 seconds and needs 150 mana to be used per cast.

Golems can attack enemy towers while enemy heroes are distracted in other lanes. Warlock can cast Shadow Word on his controlled units to earn more gold in lanes. The passive ability, Flaming Fists, lets golems deal up to 60 Pure damage as a bonus with each hit, making it easier to push lanes with Warlock.

Warlock – Rush an Aghanim’s Scepter to Summon 2 Golems

Warlock summons 2 golems to fight enemies

You can purchase an Aghanim’s Scepter for Warlock to be able to summon up to 2 golems using Chaotic Offering. An Aghanim’s Scepter can be bought for 4200 gold in the game. Warlock can easily flatten enemy towers with 2 golems after purchasing an Aghanim’s Scepter in Dota 2 matches. The upgraded ulti also yields lesser gold as a bounty to enemy heroes for killing golems in battle.

You can reduce the cooldown of your ulti to push lanes faster with golems. Items like an Octarine Core can reduce the cooldown of all of Warlock’s spells and items by 25%. Players can buy an Octarine Core for 5275 gold. Warlock gains 725 mana, 425 health, 225 cast range, and 3 mana regeneration by purchasing an Octarine Core. Neutral items like a Quickening Charm can be equipped for Warlock to reduce the cooldown of Chaotic Offering by 10%, allowing Warlock to summon more golems between battles to destroy enemy towers.

A good strategy to use while playing Warlock is buying a Refresher Orb to summon multiple golems during team fights. A Refresher Orb can instantly reset the cooldown of Chaotic Offering, letting Warlock summon up to 4 golems at a time to attack enemy structures and towers. The item costs 5000 gold and increases the health regeneration rate of Warlock by 13. Warlock also gains an increased mana regeneration rate of 7 after purchasing a Refresher Orb.

Warlock can control an army of golems to obliterate enemy towers, melee, and ranged barracks in his matches. Enemy heroes might find it harder to win team fights with multiple golems attacking their towers in lanes. You can squash enemy heroes with Warlock by using Refresher Orb to win more points for
the Dead Reckoning.

Warlock – Slow Enemies with Upheaval During Team Fights

Warlock prevents enemies from escaping his golems using Upheaval

Players can use several abilities with Warlock that can give their team an upper hand in team fights. Warlock can cast Upheaval to slow all enemy units in a radius of 650. Enemy units affected by Upheaval have their movement slowed by 25% per second, letting golems deal massive amounts of damage to enemy heroes.

Permanent Immolation from multiple golems can eat away at the health of enemy heroes during battles. Players can purchase an Aghanim’s Shard to turn Shadow Word into a spell that affects all allied units in a radius of 450. An Aghanim’s Shard can be bought for 1400 gold and will let players defeat their opponents with ease while playing Warlock.

Best Allies for Warlock – Keeper of The Light

Keeper of the Light helps Warlock push lanes

Keeper of the Light can help Warlock push lanes with his abilities. The support team can cast Illuminate to deal up to 500 damage to enemy units. Illuminate has a cast range of 1550, making it difficult for enemy heroes to evade the spell in lanes. Warlock can cast Fatal Bonds on enemy creeps to annihilate entire waves instantly after Keeper of the Light (KotL) finishes channeling Illuminate. It can take up to 3 seconds for KotL to channel Illuminate to deal maximum damage to his enemies. Illuminate has a cooldown of 13 seconds and requires 175 mana to be used.

Warlock can cast several rounds of Shadow Word and Fatal Bonds in a lane while farming for gold with KotL. Teammates can cast Chakra Magic with KotL to restore up to 320 mana to Warlock. Chakra Magic reduces the cooldown of Warlock’s spells by 6 seconds, allowing Warlock to cast Shadow Word more often on golems.

KotL can cast Will-O-Wisp to summon Ignis Fatuus during team fights. Ignis Fatuus will flicker in a radius of 750, drawing enemy units closer to the center and preventing them from attacking. It can take up to 7 hits from enemy heroes to destroy Ignis Fatuus. Warlock can cast Chaotic Offering to stun enemy units affected by Ignis Fatuus in battles. These golems can decimate enemy heroes that are disabled by KotL to earn more kills with Warlock.

Best Allies for Warlock – Witch Doctor

Witch Doctor annihilates enemies with Warlock in his team

Witch Doctor is an astounding hero in Dota 2. He can cast Paralyzing Cask to stun multiple enemy heroes in a fight. Paralyzing Cask can bounce around on enemy units up to 8 times to stun them. Warlock can use his ulti to destroy enemy heroes in lanes with golems after his opponents have been stunned by Witch Doctor using Paralyzing Cask.

Allies can use Maledict using Witch Doctor to deal bonus damage to enemy units taking damage from golems. Witch Doctor can plant a Death Ward on enemy heroes stunned by golems to defeat them in battles. A Death Ward can last for up to 8 seconds and deals 210 damage to enemy heroes. It can be more effective to attack enemy towers with golems after eliminating enemy heroes Witch Doctor in your team.
