You can level up Brewmaster to make him a reliable tank hero in the game. Many people play Brewmaster as a carry hero to deal devastating amounts of damage to enemy heroes without getting killed in battles. The tactile abilities of Brewmaster grant him plenty of chances to enter combat and smash his enemies to slow their movement speed. 

The melee hero has a base health of 660 and a base mana pool of 255. Brewmaster has a base Strength of 23 and gains 3.7 Strength per level. He can close in on enemy creeps in lanes to land the last hit with an increased base movement speed of 310. 

Players can level up Thunder Clap at the start of the game to deal damage to multiple enemies while playing Brewmaster. Thunder Clap deals 90 damage to enemy units in radius of 400 at level one. Any enemy unit affected by Thunder Clap at level one will have their movement speed slowed by 25% and attack speed slowed by 25 for 4 seconds. 

You can max out Thunder Clap to increase the damage dealt by Brewmaster’s ability to 300. Thunder Clap can be used to slow the movement speed of enemy units by 55% and reduce their attack speed by 55 for the duration of the spell at level 4. Brewmaster can use Thunder Clap once every 13 seconds in the game and consumes 120 mana to be used per cast. You can extend the radius of Thunder Clap by 200 at level 10 through the Talent Tree. 

Gamers who are new to playing Brewmaster can take at least one level of Cinder Brew after leveling up Thunder Clap for the Strength hero. Cinder Brew is an active ability that douses the area around Brewmaster in alcohol, causing his enemies to ignite after taking damage from magical spells. You can drench enemies with Cinder Brew before smashing enemies with Thunder Clap to deal up to 320 damage to your opponents in battles. 

Any enemy unit ignited by a combination of Cinder Brew and Thunder Clap will have their movement slowed by 36%. Cinder Brew has a cooldown of 11 seconds and requires 80 mana per cast. You can also apply Fear to enemy units affected by Cinder Brew through the Talent Tree by reaching level 25.

People can head to the safe lane with Brewmaster to earn more gold between waves of creeps. Brewmaster can fight neutral creep camps in the safe lane by nuking them with Thunder Clap to kill multiple enemies at once. Neutral creeps, like the Centuar camps and Ogre camps can easily be destroyed using Thunder Clap while farming with Brewmaster. You can collect an Energy Booster or a Void Stone from the Secret Shop after earning bonus gold from neutral creeps to maintain the mana pool of the Strength hero in Dota 2. 

The passive ability, Drunken Brawler, can be leveled up to improve the survivability of Brewmaster in battles. You can switch between 3 elemental modes using Drunken Brawler to unlock different set of passive abilities for the melee hero. 

The Earth Brawler can be toggled on to provide bonus armor and up to 5% magic resistance to Brewmaster. You can change the Drunken Brawler ability to the Storm Brawler to grant 15% evasion and 5% bonus movement speed to the Strength hero. The Fire Brawler gives a 24% chance to deal up to 145% critical damage with physical attacks while playing Brewmaster. You can switch the passive abilities of Brewmaster at any time by using Drunken Brawler between battles. These passive abilities of Brewmaster are amplified by 3x after igniting enemies with Cinder Brew. 

Brewmaster can use his ulti, Primal Split, to deal additional damage to enemy heroes and enemy structures in Dota 2. The carry hero can turn on his ulti after losing a significant amount of damage in battles. The Strength hero can summon 3 mighty warriors by using Primal Split during team fights. 

Each of the 3 mighty warriors, including the Earth Brewling, Storm Brewling, and Fire Brewling have over 1000 health and have a distinct set of skills that can be used to fight enemies. These Brewlings last for up 20 seconds. Brewmaster can be merged back to his original form even if any one of the 3 Brewlings is left alive by the end of the duration of Primal Split. Brewmaster’s ulti has a cooldown of 120 seconds and needs 175 mana to be used. You can smash the ground using Thunder Clap to slow enemy heroes with Brewmaster before using Primal Split to escape your opponents.

Blink Dagger

Blink Dagger can be used to turn Brewmaster into a dangerous tank hero in Dota 2. The Strength hero can use a Blink Dagger to teleport up to a distance of 1200 in any direction on the map. You can use Blink Dagger to initiate combat with Brewmaster in the online game. Blink Dagger has a cooldown of 15 seconds. The item can be bought for 2250 gold. Insight Aura affects all allied units in a radius of 1200. 

Brewmaster can use Pipe of Insight to cast Barrier on allied units. Barrier can be used to protect teammates from 450 magical damage for up to 12 seconds. Pipe of Insight has a cooldown of 60 seconds and consumes 100 mana to be used per cast. 

Heaven’s Halberd

Heaven’s Halberd is a resourceful item for Brewmaster. The Strength hero gains 20 Strength, 20% evasion, 20% health regeneration, 20% Lifesteal amplification, and 16% status resistance to the Strength hero. Brewmaster can cast Disarm using Heaven’s Halberd to prevent enemy heroes from using physical attacks. Heaven’s Halberd has a cooldown of 18 seconds and needs 100 mana to be used in the game. 

Shiva’s Guard

Shiva’s Guard provides 30 Intelligence and 15 armor to Brewmaster. The melee hero can reduce the health restoration rate of enemies by 25% and decrease their attack speed by 45 through Freezing Aura granted by Shiva’s Guard. Freezing Aura affects all enemy units in a radius of 1200 and helps counter carry heroes with increased attack speed. 

Brewmaster can use Shiva’s Guard to cast Arctic Blast on enemy units in a radius of 900. Arctic Blast deals 200 damage to enemies and decreases their movement speed by 40% for 4 seconds. Shiva’s Guard has a cooldown of 27 seconds and needs 100 mana per cast. You can use Shiva’s Guard after using Thunder Clap to drastically decrease the attack speed and movement speed of your enemies in fights.
