Dota 2 7.32b Best Heroes to Pick

[ad_1]

Take a look at the best heroes in Dota 2 patch 7.32b and how to utilize them in this patch.

Patch 7.32, that Valve released a couple of weeks ago, was fascinating for a couple of reasons. Besides the fact that it became available in the middle of ESL One Malaysia 2022, the update included a lot of hero and item changes. This had a huge impact on the meta, but it seems like OG was the first team to figure everything out. Needless to say, they ended up winning the last non-DPC event before TI.

A few days after 7.32 became available, Valve decided to roll out its successor. As expected, 7.32b addressed some of the previous patch’s problems and introduced some important changes. We won’t go into detail, but some of the heroes that were really strong before were not as good as they once were.

Unsurprisingly, the new patch had a big impact on the current meta. It’s been out for a couple of days now, so we think it is time to check which are the best heroes right now. As always, the data we use here is from DotaBuff, so it is subject to change in the future.

Omniknight

If we take a look at the heroes with the highest win rate for the current week, we can see that Omniknight takes first place. Some of you may not be surprised that the hero is among the best because he always has a high win rate, especially in PUBs. That’s why we also included in one of our guides about the best STR heroes.

Following the changes in patch 7.32, Omni did not receive anything new in the subsequent version. As a result, the hero continues to be one of the main supports in the meta and an excellent hero to use alongside some top carries in the patch.

7.32 made Omni one of the strongest heroes in the game because it included a couple of buffs. Things like Heavenly Grace now dispel Omni and his target, whereas Hammer of Purity costs less mana and provides more bonus damage.

Clinkz

Speaking of carries, 7.32 brought a breath of fresh air because we finally had the chance to see other heroes in action. One of them is Clinkz, a hero that doesn’t get the chance to shine that much in Pro and PUB games. However, the new patch definitely had an effect on the hero’s popularity.

7.32 brought Clinkz to life because it included a couple of big buffs. The essential changes affected Burning Barrage, Clinkz’s core damage ability. The update increased the number of arrows to 6 on all levels, and the channel time was rescaled to 2s flat. However, the damage output was reduced to 50/55/60% during the first three levels.

Even though patch 7.32b increased Clinkz’s Burning Barrage mana cost from 85 to 90 on level 4, this was not enough to prevent the hero from dominating in the meta. According to the official stats, Clinkz has more than a 54% win rate in the last week, which is impressive.

Visage

Despite the changes, Visage continues to be one of the strongest heroes in the game and the best mid-laner. DotaBuff shows us that one of the best 1v1 heroes in Dota 2 has almost a 55% win rate, which is impressive.

Visage was one of the heroes that received the most changes in 7.32. His Soul Assumption costs more mana, and Silent as the Grave provides 25% bonus attack damage instead of 30%. However, Summon Familiars have more range and a larger Stun Radius.

Visage also received two small nerfs in 7.32b, but they were not enough to push the hero away from the meta. Unless Valve releases a new patch, this will continue to be the main weapon for some teams, such as Entity, as well as PUB players who know how to use the hero.

Arc Warden

We recently made a full guide on how to play Arc Warden, so definitely check it out if you are interested in this hero. It is probably a good idea to skim through it because Arc is among the top-tier heroes in the current patch. He has a 54.80% win rate, which makes him as good as the other names on the list.

Arc Warden is a hero that can easily destroy almost anyone in a 1v1 matchup. He farms fast and can become a late-game monster as long as you get the best items for the job.

Interestingly, Arc was one of the heroes who did not receive many changes in 7.32. In fact, Flux received a nerf to slow movement speed because it is down to 35% instead of 50%/. However, the slow is always on, which makes the ability dangerous, especially in a 1v1 matchup.

7.32b did not bring any changes to Warden, other than fixing the bug where Tempest Double gained Fountain Invulnerability when spawned.

Meepo

Meepo is one of the heroes that received an interesting Immortal item from the first chest of the 2022 Battle Pass. This affects the hero’s popularity, and it seems like it also affects his win rate.

Currently, Meepo has a little over a 54% win rate, which is impressive for one of the most complex heroes in the game. Not everyone can play with Meepo, but those who know how to use him properly usually gain MMR with little to no effort.

Meepo received a couple of big changes in 7.32, such as an additional STR gain. Earthbind also has less cooldown during the first three levels, and Dig has no challenging time and less cooldown. There were also a couple of nerfs, but it seemed like they were not enough to stop him.

Speaking of changes. 7.32b also included two new things about the hero. His Poof damage was increased to 100 on level 4 and Divided We Stand now has a 5% extra magic resistance for up to 20%.
