The Bosnian-Swedish coach plans to end his 10-month hiatus and return to the scene

After taking a break for the birth of his daughter, Faruk “pita” Pita reveals he’s ready to make a comeback to coaching. The 32-year-old took to TwitLonger to announce his intentions of making a swift comeback.

“When my previous team Dignitas withdrew from CS last summer, I decided to take the opportunity to be with my little family,” pita wrote in his post. “During this period there has been offers, some good that I wanted, but that didn’t go through all the way — and some that just didn’t feel right at the time considering the circumstances.

“The only thing I wish is to compete with a group that has the ambition to go all the way and players that want to put in that little extra,” pita confirmed that he is willing to entertain offers from all regions.

How Succesful Is pita As A Coach?

The highlight of pita’s coaching career so far is his Ninjas In Pyjamas tenure. Notably, he assisted the Swedish team in securing the ESL One Cologne 2014 Major championship before moving on from the European scene to join CLG in North America, where he stayed for seven months.

After a period of inactivity, pita made a comeback to Ninjas in Pyjamas at the beginning of 2018, where he stayed for two years, participating in three Majors with the team. In the last two years, pita has coached for Copenhagen Flames and Dignitas, leaving the latter team in June 2022.

Despite being implicated in the coach-bug scandal that rocked the CS:GO scene, pita has completed his suspension and is now free to take up coaching roles.

For those who wish to get in touch with him regarding coaching opportunities, pita has made his contact information public. He can be reached via Twitter or email ([email protected]).
