The Apeks AWPer says Vitality will feel the pressure as the home side when his team meets the reigning IEM Rio champions in the Paris Major 2023 Champions Stage semifinals
Apeks saw off Liquid 2-0 in their Champions Stage quarterfinal match to set up a meeting with the local side Vitality in the semifinals. The French have been in red-hot form lately. They started their Paris Major mission in the Legends Stage, fresh from their IEM Rio triumph. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire’s men have been flawless in front of their home crowd far as they won all four of the matches they played in the competition.
Apeks eleminated Liquid and @jLcsgo_ is really in the mood.
JL: “Our goal was go get to challengers stage, and here we are on the semi-final of the last CS:GO Major, it feels great”

Apeks will go into their semifinal tie against Vitality as the underdogs. Justinas “jL” Lekavicius, however, thinks his team will be in an advantageous position as they will not have the burden of sky-high expectations.
“The Vitality fans of course I will hear them, I’m not sure on our chance for it it will be a good game. All the pressure is on them, we have no pressure we have already made top four of a Major. We are going to use Vitality’s crowd energy and convert it to motivation to win.”
