WayForward & Limited Run Games announces River City Girls Zero physical editions

River City Girls Zero, a western localization from WayForward of the 1994 Super Famicom beat ’em up Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka that was originally developed by Givro Corporation, is confirmed to be getting physical releases from Limited Run Games. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 versions will be available, with the game set to release in Early 2022.

Alongside the option for a standard physical copy, there will be two tiers of special collector’s editions, with the six-week only pre-order period starting on 28th January at 10am ET. “Limited Classic Edition” will be priced at $64.99 USD and includes; a physical copy of the game, a reversible 18″ 24″ poster, and an original soundtrack in a retro box. “Limited Ultimate Edition” will be priced at $149.99 USD and includes; everything mentioned in the aforementioned edition, plus the addition of a digital download code for the game, a retro cart keychain, and posable Misako & Kyoko action figures.

Merchandise for River City Girls Zero (coin sets, trading cards, an “ultra-soft” t-shirt, a hat with an under-brim manga print, etc.) has also been announced from Limited Run Games, and will be sold separately throughout the same six-week pre-order period as the game.
