USA: NPD hardware figures sees Switch at No.1, Xbox Series X|S No.2 and PS5 No.3 for May 2022

The latest video game hardware and software sales figures for May 2022 have come through courtesy of the NPD Group which tracks gaming sales throughout the United States. The best-selling hardware was the Nintendo Switch family of systems, followed by the Xbox Series X|S consoles, and Sony’s PlayStation 5 in third. With regards to software it was Elden Ring at No.1 with Nintendo Switch Sports climbing to No.3. Here’s the best-selling games in the United States during the month of May.
