US NPD: Fire Emblem Engage debuts at No.5, PS5 No.1 console in January 2023

The latest video game software and hardware data has come through from the NPD Group which tracks video game sales across the United States. January 2023 saw four new releases enter the top ten with the highest new entry being the Dead Space remake at No.2, Fire Emblem Engage at No.5, Forspoken at No.7 and One Piece Odyssey at No.9. The best-selling video game console in the United States was Sony’s PlayStation 5 console, with the Nintendo Switch family of systems at No.2 and the Xbox Series X|S consoles at No.3.

3. Madden NFL 23
4. FIFA 23
5. Fire Emblem Engage
6. Elden Ring
7. Forspoken
