Shigesato Itoi the creator of Mother series has retweeted today’s Nintendo Direct

Shigesato Itoi, who is the acclaimed creator behind the beloved Mother series, has retweeted today’s Nintendo Direct presentation announcement. While it seems unlikely that a new Mother game is development over at Nintendo, the retweet could indicate that Earthbound could arrive on the Nintendo Switch SNES app which is available for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. We shall have to wait until the presentation later today at 10pm GMT / 2pm PT to find out if there is any significance in the retweet.
