NPD: 2021 dollar sales of the Pokémon franchise’s physical software reached its highest annual total since 2000

Every month, the NPD Group releases sales data on the video gaming industry in the United States. The data includes software and hardware. In January, however, there is also a yearly sales report that provides details on how the gaming industry did in the previous year. And some interesting things can be confirmed from it.
