Nintendo NY holding their first Direct streaming event in 3 years

[ad_1]

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic isn’t over, but for a lot of people in the United States, normality has returned. Throughout the year, things have been opening back up completely, and events that had been cancelled are now making their return.

One of them is Nintendo NY. The store, located in New York City, has been a source of legendary reactions to Nintendo Direct announcements and launch events for Nintendo’s first-party games. Unfortunately, these haven’t been happening as of late. The pandemic forced Nintendo NY to close their doors “for the foreseeable future” in 2020.

Due to the store’s closure, it also meant that Nintendo NY crowd reactions were nowhere to be seen for announcements such as the reveal of Metroid Dread, the confirmation of Sora in Smash Ultimate, and more. The last time Nintendo NY live streamed a Direct for a crowd was in September of 2019.

Fortunately, the store has opened its doors again, and they have recently returned to holding events once again. And now, with the announcement of a Nintendo Direct happening tomorrow, Nintendo NY confirmed on their Twitter that, for the first time in 3 years, people will be able to attend a Nintendo Direct streaming event there. The official tweet is down below.
