Minecraft has been a thing for over 10 years now. In fact, if you consider the years that the game was in its alpha and beta stages, it has now been nearly 15 years. The game is available on many different consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, and there has been updated versions released, including Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
That said, to say that Minecraft has been a successful video game would be a massive understatement. You see, Mojang recently announced at their Minecraft Live event that Minecraft has now officially surpassed 300,000,000 copies sold. Minecraft’s 15th anniversary is in May of 2024.
