Accurate leaker Midori has commented on Square Enix and a couple of projects which the Japanese video game developer has in development. She corroborated reports that Square Enix is currently working on a remake of the acclaimed Final Fantasy IX, which launched on the original Sony PlayStation back in 2000. Midori also revealed that Square Enix has no plans at present to remake the PlayStation 2 adventure Final Fantasy X. Square Enix recently stated that it will plans to make all its games multiplatform in the future, so it seems likely that the remake for Final Fantasy IX could well come to the Nintendo Switch 2.
