[ad_1]

Microsoft is currently looking to finalize its $68.7 billion proposed acquisition of Call of Duty and Warcraft developer Activision-Blizzard. The Verge reports that the Redmond-based company is looking at Friday, 13th October, as the closing date for the deal. A final decision from the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority is expected next week, and the company has already put forth changes to the deal, which were outlined weeks ago. Microsoft has received preliminary approval from the Competition and Markets Authority and the final date is fast approaching for the big deal, which would see Microsoft own the Call of Duty series along with Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and much more.
