Influencers and Crash Bandicoot fans have received a nice little surprise package from Activision today which reveals that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be available on Steam on the 18th October. That is not all though, as the surprise Crash package also contains a teaser for the long-rumoured Crash Bandicoot themed online multiplayer game, Wumpa League, which it seems will be unveiled by Activision at this year’s The Game Awards which is once again hosted by the one and only, Geoff Keighley. Liam Roberson said the following about the original Wumpa League project.
“Wumpa League was an online multiplayer Crash Bandicoot game or add-on for Crash 4 (unsure if that was decided when I learned of it). It used the same tech as Crash 4 and was developed alongside it. A competitive multiplayer collectathon platformer with open 3D environments.”
