31st Tetris 99 Maximus Cup begins later this week

Ever since the game launched a few years ago, Tetris 99 has been doing Maximus Cup events every now and then. These usually happen to celebrate some first-party content that recently launched on the Nintendo Switch, usually a game, and the theme you can unlock during the event is usually based on what the first-party content is.

There hasn’t been any Maximus Cups lately, but Nintendo has decided to randomly do another one. The 31st Maximus Cup is also based on yet another Kirby game, Kirby’s Dream Buffet, which has been available for 6 months. You can take part in the Maximus Cup when it begins on Friday.
